Try to use one of these two methods.

First one is based on splitting the animal (or something else you want to draw) to figures (rings, squares). Have a look on e.g. wolf - could it be built using some basic figures? I mean rectangles for legs, ring for head and large rectangle for barrel? Making figures should help to save good proportion and shapes of drawn thing.

Second method is based on splitting whole photo to small rectangles or squares. A sheet of paper should look like net. It will make much smaller areas to draw and you could finish it by redrawing each small squares. I looked on your gallery and I found some traces of 'net' so I think you know how this method looks like
