pixiv link: www.pixiv.net/member_illust.phβ¦I never really tried drawing a complete picture with a difficult viewing angle - only practice sketches, which started turning out semi-decently not so long ago, so I thought it's time to try.
Well, what can I say - it's HARD. No, Hard would be an understatement, it's probably Lunatic.
Everything that could go wrong went wrong and I pretty much failed, but I guess that's to be expected from the first attempt. I think it still looks OK enough to be posted. Some stuff is rushed though since I just wanted to be done with it.
Anyway, I learned a lot and will hopefully avoid making these mistakes in the future.
I'll keep trying to get perspective right (since I consider it to be one of my weakest spots and that needs to be dealt with), but I need a break to revise my workflow, so my next drawing will probably be something that's easier for me.

Thank you! Yes, it's probably way too difficult for me. I failed to construct it properly and so my guidelines were wrong and it all went downhill from there... I tried to somehow fix it later but at this point it was pretty much impossible without redrawing the whole thing. Well, I tend to jump straight into fire when learning something new, not realizing how difficult it is. Now I think I understand where to start so I'll pick something easier for my second attempt.

Well this is nothing compared to that one time when I spent 2+ months drawing a picture that I never managed to finish (that was my first attempt at backgrounds, and this background is still too difficult for me now).
I stopped drawing for 3 months and almost completely dropped drawing after this but I started again and I think I'm now immune to that, lol.
