Warm and cherubic, but your merman has a lovely amount of longing/sadness on his face, great for the story.

Thank you! I think longing and loneliness are something what relates the characters of the old deities in such stories, because people forgot and left them. At the same time, they would like to communicate with people, but they bring people only troubles.
