- i have this crazy HC that came out of genuinely nowhere, in Ere-verse (which this universe has now been lovingly named) Shinning Armor was in a heavy metal band before joining the royal guard! the band even took off into some d-list level of stardom after a few years of the group fucking around, they had named Discord’s Inferno (mind you this was at a time where it discord was still a feared and popularized villain in equestrian history that was never have thought to REVIVE??? funny how he ended up brother in law with the guy..

- this group consisted of Shining Armor, Spear Head, Fast Clip and Whip Lash!

- Spear head and Shining have been best buds for nearly their entire life. they grew up together in the south side of the stacks until shinings parents came into wealth when his mother and father made a fortune off of their discovery of star tracking magic. this surpassed any recent forms of travel technology and strategy, so they were seated in celestia’s cabinet of travel intelligence! this allowed for Twilight Velvet and Night Light to pay for their sons full education and in extension, spear heads as well!

- these two, because of their time together have some HISTORY. their tension was unexplainable and unmatched, even in shinings new marriage the excitement and thrill just differ in intensity. now please, don’t get confused shining and cadence are so very much in love!! i mean duh, they were literally crowned the rulers of it lol, but shining and spear head should at least get some sort of title for whatever is happening between the two 😭

- cadence has no jealousy over these two boys however! i think of it as somewhat of a challengers situation, but the two boys actually bone and cadence isn’t a conniving little hoe.. spear head and cadence have built a very VERY.. loving… friendship. and tbh most of their shared love is often focused on shining armor 👍🏼

- the boys keep in contact and spear head eventually becomes a makeshift uncle to shinings kids and he becomes Tender hearts biggest inspiration for style and personality, they become super close and have an almost father son bond, he loves his mini me hehe.
