Allegro was born some time after flurry heart, unlike a lot of his other siblings, allegro was born in a time of vast peace in equestria. this peace was soon to be interrupted but from what he can recall, equestrian life was one of great prosperity and wondrous leisure. Shining was still an active father and Cadence still strong hearted. Allegro was never a simple minded child, throwing himself headfirst into every challenge he encountered; even if as a prince these challenges amount to untamed puddles on the castle grounds. Adventurous and steadfast little Affection had become determined to change the world in the same way his parents had, the same his aunt had, the way his country expected the likes of royalty to do. So, as a colt he had chosen to invest his efforts into training; he decided he would become the next Captain of the Crystal Guard, and maybe someday the Queens Royal fleet! This endeavor came with many difficulties as well as several injuries for the young prince, being so eager to succeed he would let little stop him, not even sprained wing or any abrasion. Allegro surrounded himself with those he loved, his family and his friends always tuned into his young preaching (childish patriotic babbling) of the greatest Crystal Empire that ever could be, and not just his empire, but how all of Equestrians would benefit from his ideas. Shining and Cadence were both filled with pride for their sons eager attitude and commitment to his roll as a royal, it is something they would come to deeply miss about him as he began to age. People say conflict will always weasel its way into peace, as so it has and as it will continue to do. this conflict struck the crystal palace at speed quicker than lightning, striking the kingdom in mere days with tragedy. Flurry Heart, with all leads going dead within hours, had gone missing. Ali was kept in the dark about his elder sisters disappearance for a long while. being only 14 (in human years), he never understood where his sister had gone, why, or how nobody seemed to be trying hard enough to find her. and so an obsession with her absence was born, constantly convinced others were not telling him the full truth of her absence. During this time, Allegros family near shattered leaving him in a world of despair and seclusion. Another son named Tender Heart is born to the throne, and while it was a momentous and happy occasion, the kingdom laid still in mourning for their lost princess. Shining had isolated himself near fully, leaving for trips and treaty meetings with foreign government, this would aid in his absence for the birth of his second daughter, Heart Racer. Cadence at that point had near lost herself, wondering, if she was a real princess of love then her daughter never would have… well, she wouldn’t dare choke the words. Allegro threw himself into training, if he was strong enough, equipped with battalions and ready for the roll he could bring his sister back, he could bring Flurry Heart home. in another, horrific chain reaction of events, Ali suffers an uncontrolled hyper blast of magic to the right side of his face and scull during a spar with Antares, another colt training to obtain status in guard ranks. This blast was not hot enough to cause burns but the magic itself imbedded into the half of his brain that was hit. The blast left one scar sitting over his eye, along with heaps of secret brain damage. With no visual issue immediately seen or noticed, he left the guards infirmary with thoughtless ease. This ease, like the peace he once enjoyed, would vanish suddenly when Ali awakes a few nights later to hear voices all around him. They spoke from inside his walls, under his bed and the worst were the ones that screeched like they were begging to get out from the inside of his head. From his left eye, Allegro beings to make out shapes and forms of those once dead, now reanimated for his eyes to bear horror to. All of his dreams once achievable and within reach, could now never be further away and Ali is reduced to unfathomable ruins.
