Can't express how much I love these two together. Shadamy has been my favorite sonic ship since I was 12 with Sonic adventure 2. I finally began to like Amy at that point and Shadow was a great new addition to the Sonic universe. I'll never forget seeing Amy be the one responsible for returning Shadow's memories to him and being the source for which he turned to the Hero's side. "I need to fulfil my promise to Maria. . .and you" as he skates off. Since that moment it became a little joke of mine.
"what if Shadow and Amy started dating!?" I would joke around with my cousin, saying. soon it became a few silly pictures of them on bad dates. Amy riding with Shadow on his motorcycle as he shot at aliens. But then I began writing little Sonic fanfics. One of them was an action story where Amy ends up sacrificing herself for Shadow. Everyone is devastated and Shadow quietly picks her lifeless body up and and vows revenge for his only other person he's ever loved being taken from him!! . . . . .except that was only an idea I actually never got around to making that one
But since all those I just wanted them to be together. I was actually upset how Team Dark and Team Rose in Sonic Heroes never faced each other for this exact reason. and you better bet your butt I did the hero mission in Cryptic Castle the first time I ever reached it in Shadow the Hedgehog. It bloomed into my favorite couple. It makes sense to me and I love it.
Anyway, what is your favorite Sonic ship (it better not be Sonamy lol jkjkjk. . . . .or am I?!) tell me in the comments and we'll chitchat about it
