A bigger reproduction of an image on my major art project. Just something quick to let you guys know that I'm still around
This piece shows a different style of my work that I can do. I had to do semi realist people like this one for some of my art project, and it was pretty tough at first, but I managed to get through it which is rewarding.

Oh, hello there. You /are/ still alive! (Not that I can talk - I've been absent for months.)
xD You say that this is a different style than your usual, but bits and pieces of your normal style still creep through (Particularly your affinity for swirly, slightly abstract backgrounds). Not that that's a bad thing! It's kinda like a fingerprint - it shows your work is uniquely yours. Gives it life, I guess.
Absolutely fantastic use of colour, too. Your work is always so lovely to look at, since you combine, contrast and blend colours so very well.
Also? Those are /really/ awesome eyes.

yeah drawing people is not so easy..esp to get perspective right even if doing them a little surreal(whatever)
I think you got it pretty much right on with the far away look and the colours I think portray the emotions of stress well tones of blue merging with purple
the idea of the many threads of thought enveloping us
like tentacles of an octopus
the nice yellow green highlights that add depth and in so doing showing the face hiding away in the (possible) many thoughts of confusion stress can bring...
well my thoughts of your depiction of stress anyway
I love the idea and the art..exceptional to me in its statement of stress
