Bungo Stray Dogs vs Kyousougiga

Connections:

Scruffy brown haired men who attempted to kill themselves at a young age only to be brought in by an enigmatic man that healed them (Ōgai Mori and Inari). Later on as they grow up, they would become part of an organization (The Armed Detective Agency and Council Of Three) that governs their newfound towns (Yokohama and the Mirror Capital). Despite acting childish and immature to the people around them, they are self-loathing of themselves which is due to their past losing their parents and lack of purpose in life, the latter of which they yearn so dearly for as they live on. During their time in the organization however, they would meet and grow a familial bond with a youthful protagonist with unique and sought after powers from antagonistic groups (Atsushi Nakajima and Koto), with this relationship helping them alleviate their own internal struggles to the point of developing a reason to live.

They wield spiritual energy that acts as a form of confinement (No Longer Human and Yakushimaru's beads), this ability however also have a notable contrast between one another (No Longer Human nullifying one's spiritual powers and Yakushimaru's beads secondary effect having him restore things and people).
