Description
In this battlefield I wage my final heaven,My last stand to quell this ever demeaning heathen,
I will go on and overcome this great infidel,
Underneath the starry skies of a grand citadel.
Staring into the scarlet moon I made my strategy,
Going through great lengths to ravage this vile blasphemy,
I swear an oath, hoping it would be mark with my sword,
Screaming to the horde, I lay them my final word.
The heavens will rejoice as I unsheathe my sharp blade,
Instilled with fervor, belittling the midnight glade,
I will carry my cross, praying to the dark night sky,
For I shall not let this moment ever pass me by.
The earth will shake and render the planet still,
A war has been waged in the planet’s eternal fill,
The angels have clashed; the demons have to be rout,
Fulfilling their duty in this never-ending bout.
With this sword I will pledge my one final heaven,
Assisting the Lord to redeem the creatures of Eden,
For I will never surrender the risk to be tame,
Igniting the passion that will forever light my flame.

I don’t really have a favorite poet… I read poetry from Edgar Allan Poe, Emily Dickson, Octavio Paz, Oscar Wilde, Homer, Filipino poets like Cirilo Bautista, heck even DA poets. I like mixing ideas from other people’s poetry like I love mixing concoctions for my alcohol consumption. LOL! XD
But my favorite author would be Neil Gaiman. He’s my inspiration when it comes to fantasy and imagination. I'm proud to say that my imagination is really deep. For me everything can mean anything, it's just a matter of how I express it... put it into words. That's why I'm not satisfied with what I write. I always aim to improve. Hope that helps. Oh, and thanks for the praise! I really appreciate it.

My fave poet of all time is Edgar Allan Poe... while for the authors... I think Thomas HArdy. Anyway, I like Neil Gaiman too! Just saw him last year at the Phil Graphic Fiction Awards! Really fun!

Ah yes, Neil Gaiman is the master of modern day fantasy/science fiction tales... with a hint of magical realism too. I saw him last year. Got my Anansi Boys book autographed by him. Crazy guy, I found out that he was a Scorpio... I am one as well... I even joked about me being the next Gaiman. LOL! ^_^
