Sousuke grumbled as he sat in the small plastic chair in the indoor pool, his eyes looking around the facility for something to look at, anything to relieve him of his boredom.

Sousuke had agreed to stay with you at the public pool after you had told him that you were responsible for locking up tonight. Sousuke being the ever-gallant best friend wanted to see you home to make sure that nothing happened to you. He just wished that there were something to do to make time pass ever a little bit faster.

You strolled slowly out of the front office, oversized lifeguard shirt dandling off your shoulders slightly, making Sousuke immediately interested in whatever you were about to say.

“Hey Sou-kun, I just got a call from one of the girls on staff and she can’t make it to lessons tonight so I’ll have to teach them.” You said pulling out the things you needed for the lesson.

“That’s fine, but why tell me, I don’t work here.”

“I just figured I would tell you, because I won’t be able to stay in the chair and talk with you now, so you’ll just have to muddle through with watching the lesson.” You shrugged as you walked past him going back into the office.

Sousuke’s eyes followed your figure taking a few trips down south to admire your short-shorts. Only did he tear his eyes away when he heard a small giggle. Turning his head in the opposite direction he saw a little girl who was smiling and clutching her towel.

“Do you like Miss {name}-chan?” the little girl questioned.

“You’re regular teacher isn’t going to be here today so I’ll be your swimming instructor okay?” you asked the girl.

“Okay then! If you want to go put your things down on the bench over there and then get in the shallow end I’ll be there in a minute!” you said smiling.

“Okaaaay!~” the little girl said scampering off towards the benches.

You stood up and removed your shorts folding them and setting them in the seat beside Sousuke’s. The male tried his hardest to fight the blush that threatened to rise to his cheeks doing a pretty successful job, until you removed your top. He couldn’t help but stare as you removed the baggy clothing, his eyes drinking in your figure shamelessly. He watched you walk to the ladder and lower yourself into the water to join the happy little girl.

Sousuke was immediately regretting his previous wishes of having something interesting to look at.

Time passed by antagonizing slow for the dark haired male, as he couldn’t seem to tear his eyes away from you. The way you would stretch your arms above your head, giving him a perfect view of your chest. Or when you would bend over to show the correct stance for diving giving him a wonderful view of your butt. He wasn’t sure how much longer of this torture he could take. He snapped out of his trance when he saw a hand being waved in front of his face. Blinking a few times before looking up to meet your {e/c} orbs he noticed the small grin on your face.

“What.” He muttered.

“Oh nothing, just trying to snap you out of whatever kind of trance you’re in before you have something fly into your mouth.” You say walking past him towards the office, switching off the lights. “Besides it’s time to go, everyone else has left.”

That was all he needed to hear.
Roughly grabbing your hips he pulled you to him successfully seating you in his lap. His arms wound around your waist and his lips cam dangerously close to your ear.

“You know you really shouldn’t tease people like that {name}.” he purred in your ear.

You turned a million shades of red unable to construct a response. You were about to finally speak when your words died on your lips as you felt yourself being lifted. In a flash you were no longer facing the pool, you were now nose to nose with your best friend and longtime crush. His teal eyes burned into your own and you could have sworn the temperature rose a few degrees. The only light you were provided was the illumination of the moon from the few windows that lined the pool walls.

“S-Sou-kun?” you questioned, caught completely off guard by his actions.
“I don’t think you realize just how alluring you are {name}.” he said planting soft kisses along your neck.

“Are you always such a tease at work?” he murmured against your skin giving you small nips making you gasp softly.

“Sousuke I-I don’t know what you’re talking about!” you said breathlessly as you felt him cup your bottom pulling you even closer.

“I bet all of the guys here are all over you, well we can’t have that now can we?”

You moaned softly when you felt him bite softly on your neck, gently lapping and sucking at the tender skin. You knew that his ministrations would surely leave a mark but at this point you couldn’t bring yourself to stop him, he was marking you as his and you loved it.

His large hands roamed your body as his mouth explored your exposed neck; growing impatient you grabbed his face, looking into his teal eyes before crashing your lips down onto his own. Your mouths melded together his tongue lashing out forcing itself into yours, not asking permission. The kiss was messy, hot, but most of all it was needy. Sousuke’s hands burned your skin as he tried to pull you even closer to him, the urgency of the kiss left you breathless and soon you had to break away from the male, gasping for air.

His teal eyes captured yours as the two of you stopped to catch your breaths. You had so many questions but where to start…

“Explain…now.” You said gasping for air.

“What do you mean?” he gave you a smirk obviously toying with you.

“Why did you kiss me.” You said, serious expression on your face, “What am I to you Sousuke.”

His smirk disappeared at the mention of his full name, rarely did you ever call him by his name, it was always some nickname you had made up just for him. He adverted his gaze immediately knowing that he would have to confess.

“When you were teaching those lessons they way you stretched your body, and how you bent over drove me crazy at first…” he said still looking away from you.

“But the thought of another guy staring at you the way I was made me furious, and I couldn’t stand it. I don’t want anyone looking at you like that, so I marked you…so that everyone could see…”

“But why Sou-kun…” you murmured, resting your hands delicately on his chest.

He looked up, surprised at your tone, and use of nickname, and then he looked into your eyes, “Because I have been in love with you for a very long time {name}, since we were kids. But I was so afraid to tell you and risk ruining our friendship…” he trailed off towards the end, a small blush grazing his cheeks.

Your cheeks reddened at the males confession, surprised that he shared the same feelings that you did. You were unable to speak, thinking that you were stuck in some dream.

“Say something {name}, anything…” he said, voice anxious by your lack of response.

A smirk twitched on your lips before you spoke, “You were never good with sharing your toys Sou-kun…”

He smiled and buried his head into your neck chuckling softly, “No, I wasn’t but you’re not just some toy either.”

“I’m in love with you too Sousuke…” you whispered.

He slowly moved his head from your neck looking into your eyes, the ends of his lips turned up into a smile before he cupped your face and gently kissed you, this time slow, and lovingly.

You broke from the kiss, leaning your head towards his ear you whispered, “Not that this isn’t extremely romantic Sou-kun but as I have said before everyone has left.”

Catching your hint Sousuke stood from his seat bringing you along with him as the two of you disappeared into the office…
