Looks like Jeremy and Aelita are "burnin' the midnight oil" for finals week. Aelita seems to have already burned out and Jeremy's face will probably burn up from the surprise. I guess Aelita is just not as trained as Jeremy is in pulling all-nighters.In this picture, Aelita probably needed help with history class seeing how she has missed out on so much. And Jeremy being the best friend that he is and all, offered to help her study.
Ye gods do I hate all-nighters! I think I drew this on finals week trying to struggle to stay awake. I usually draw or photoshop whenever I feel myself slipping in to that wonderful, yet elusive dream world. (My wacom also makes a good pillow I find.)
What I think that I might have had in mind when I drew this picture of Jeremy and Aelita was, "If I have to be up those two are going to be up too!". Afterall, misery loves company, but only if the company is equally miserable. meh but somehow I don't think that they were as miserable as I was...

Nor I. I usually just fall asleep sitting up and smack my face on the keyboard as I slump over. Onetime I woke up on the floor. You really shouldn't work until you drop from exhaustion though.

but anyways, I never just fall asleep. if I don't take the drugs I just won't get any physical rest and will feel like rubber knees next day. my brain never sleeps. it doesn't require any I guess....
then again I am a clinical Insomniac as a direct result of ADHD so... -___-

Have you tried deep belly breathing and other stress meditation? I was hyper active as a child and the only way my mother could get my twin and I to sleep was if we would hold still long enough to slow down. So my mom would either take us for a drive in the car or stroller harness us to our cribs. Once we stopped moving we'd sleep.

it's not a problem of my physical body always moving. I don't move enough probabbly. XP
it's my other body that won't stop moving and being industrious to no end...

I still suggest stilling your mind with some meditation to go along with your medicine treatment. I have times when I can't sleep because my brain is too active thinking about a million things and meditation as well as ambient noise helped me sleep. I had a track of a far away thunder storm I would play on loop all night. Hell I've put myself to sleep trying to remember exactly a story in a book went or a TV show. Its a lot of work for me to use my imagination to get a perfect picture in my mind and that blows off a lot of active mind steam for me. You probably tried this already but its what works for me.

well last night, I tried to go to sleep all by myself without medicinal help but it didn't work.
probbably because I kept having a killer headache and dreams that were bothering my conciousness....

Well I'd try having a little tea or cola for the head ache. I'm ADD so caffeine not only helps with the headache but puts me to sleep.

headaches related to caffine can only mean that you are addicted to it.

no when I have a headache I drink caffeine other than that I never drink the stuff.

drink caffine = headache gone = caffine withdrawl

But I never drink the stuff I just use it on the rare time I have a headache, which is hardly ever. So it cant be withdrawal if you only have one cola every few months. Not everyone has a caffeine addiction. The caffeine helps by expanding blood vessels so blood can pass through the veins easier. The stuff actually makes me sleepy.

I know how Aelita feels. I had finals and I think I developed insomnia from pulling all-nighters studying. Then I found out at the last minute that I didn't have to take 'em because I had good grades. I would have face-faulted if I could.
