Elisa perched herself on the edge of the parapet, looking out over the city. She smiled as she heard the cracking of stone followed Goliath's roar, and the roars below her. She heard Goliath jump from his daytime perch and walk to her, gently draping his wings over her shoulders, shielding her from the brisk night wind.

"What a beautiful view," Goliath said, circling his arms around her waist and pulling her close to him.

Elisa smiled more, breathing in his musky scent. "Yeah, the stars are pretty tonight."

"I wasn't talking about the stars," Goliath said. He moved his right hand beneath her's and gently squeezed it.

Elisa looked up at him and saw he wasn't looking at the night sky at all; he was looking down at her, a gentle smile on his face.

Elisa smiled, too, a blush gracing her cheeks, and decided in Goliath's arms was the best place to be.
