This envelope came out more cluttered than I thought when I finished it so I didn't really want to send it. I think I tossed in too many details like the chains, bandages, and random flowery background to the point that the postman would barely see the address.Despite the weirdness, I do like this envelope, especially how Naruto's forehead protector straps came out alright. I'm glad the scanner caught the texture the silver gel pen left. Um, I'm too lazy to fix all the weird messups that come with working with natural media, like how you can see the marker strokes or the back of the envelope causing an odd angled line through Naruto's hair.
I'm tempted to dress Naruto up in random stuff now... whether it be a variation of his normal clothes or something totally AU, I just want him to look cool. (Maybe toss in Sasuke too.) I like his boots and his bag from the pilot chapter; I sure wish he'd use them in the actual series.

Prismacolor markers can be found at most hobby stores or art stores. Um, they do cost quite a bit though. I was lucky and got a set as a gift. Good luck! I hope you get them!

where dose the whiteout come into play? The eyes... or are you REALLY good at covering up mistakes?

It's for the white in the eyes and sometimes the highlights in the hair. The gel pen is used to fix it up a bit. Yarg, I use what I can. Office supplies work great!

I believe I saw this in your sketch book and it looks TOO cool! First off I just love how you draw faces. They're so consistant and full and... grar, they look really great! The pose is good too and the expression is fitting! Beautiful flow to the picture!

I love this envolope! And don't worry about the strokes on the hair, I think they give it a cool texture. And as for clutter, no such thing, it's a perfect sketch, and deserves a pizza.

The cloud-print on the headband is awesome! I don't think it looks too cluttered-- it's busy, but not disruptively so (at least in my opinion). The colors are beautifully vibrant and the whole composition is dynamic. Wonderful envelope art!

Nya! Gosai-chan, Naruto-kun look so awsome!!! very very pretty flowery backround too, darn, I would be so happy to recieve a so pretty envelope! ^^
My favourite part is the bandana, I just like the...hum...argh....you know, the way the blue's getting lighter (It's an effect, but I don't know the right name) and the katana (or is it the shorter blade?)

That line thing is a similar problem with my envelope art, only I wish I had prismatic markers to use.
