Uh... I respect your opinion, but I don't think this is about whether she can be useful or not. My impression was that she couldn't do it because of feelings about Sasuke -- neither she or Naruto would want to kill him. They still see him as someone who was their friend. I don't think this has anything to do with Sakura's skill level as a shinobi.
It seems to me like a lot of people get mad at Kishimoto over the littlest things.

And friends dont try to kill there fan girls 3 times in a row, friends dont kill there temperary hokage, friends dont curse against there entire village, friends dont mock against there friends that they thought of as a brother, friends dont try to kill there old sensei, and let never forget friends dont ever get influenced by a creepy guy in a mask tellign them a story about there brother and go against there older brothers wishes and try to kill there entire village and help with an entire army of dead soldiers and ex kages and ex jinjurikis and green/black people to take over the world so in the end they could nievely get there eye taken from the mask guy(manato).

Oh, the power of imagination is all right- it's just that I'd rather not imagine Itachi getting frisky with his little brother. That's some game of thrones shit right there, without all the cool medieval intrigue. The problem isn't that they're both guys, but that they share a wee bit more of genes than is appropriate. XD..... Well...yeah it iss quite creepy but still Itachi is one of the few that can get along with Sasuke. And sometimes it looks like Sasuke loves just him self and itachi has shered even... ...well lets say the same belly about nine months ...E.... E ..... welll....
