Actually, both of these characters are grotesquely overrated in terms of their capabilities. But that being said, I might still argue in Galen's favor here on the account of superior speed and how hits from a lightsaber are something few people can take without pause.

That doesn't mean much here, because Starkiller doesn't use a Gorgon Gaze. He uses other attacks that Kratos has no particular resistance to.Β

This is the problem I always see whenever people debate with Kratos; people always assume that all versions of the Greek Gods are equal. They're not. The GoW Olympians that Kratos killed are some of the weakest out there, weaker than the Marvel versions, weaker than the DC versions, weaker than the Disney versions, and weaker than the Classic Myth versions. I suspect they're weaker than the Percy Jackson versions also, though that one at least I can't say with certainty. Not much of a PJ guy. But the point stands: not all versions of the Olympians are equal. And to prove this, I can invoke Disney Zeus casually manipulating multiple celestial bodies lightyears apart from one another and also lightyears away from his position, a feat GoW Zeus has never done, nor shown even a fraction of the power necessary to do.Β
