Okay, a little explanation is needed I think...I've been reading 's stories n FFNet, and well, she and I have speculated that Silver is actually a future descendant of Shadow's rather than Sonic. (supposing he's related to anyone).
That taken into account, I have wanted to enter 's contest based on Ghosts of the Future. Originally, I couldn't seem to get Shadow and the baby he's holding to look right so it was Shadow and Ayame (for those familiar with my fanfiction works on FFNet; see Flirting Shadows if not).
So why is GotF Shadow holding a baby Silver? I have no clue. But I can speculate... Let's say he and Sonic found Silver before he grew up? XD Have to wait a few years and help RAISE him before he can go emerald hunting? Okay, that works I guess. Are they related in GoTF? Nope, doesn't look like it, but really... can you imagine Shadow being good with kids?
Shadow: ... get it... away... from... me... <_< Dang Sonic, being a ghost... HELP ME RAISE THIS ^@!&(!# kid! >_<

I just can't help but feel like...since Shadow is technically "an alien," in a hedgehog shell, and artificial as a biological experiment, that his 'descendants' would be Black Doom mutations or something, not an actual hedgehog
