Ok, Let me say this, I am FINALLY coming to terms with the new story, cause in simple, it ROCKS, no kidding, if it was any freakin Cooler well, they would have to Karl Bollers in the freezer just so that he doesn't lose the plot.

Now, let me begin, it picks up straight after robotnik decided to nuke the planet with his triple threat with sonic and tails making away for robutnik's ship (gotta love ex US surplus aircraft carriers, his loan on the egg carrier must have expired ^_^) and well, he begins to kick ass. Yo see Ant's dad in front of mobotropolis, and he must be fucked in the head due to his thinkink that he has been stationed there for TEN YEARS. Convient tho that suddenly old mobotropolis is now surrounded by desert, that's some desertfication process for a overgrown sno-globe. ANd Knux and the gang rock up. You also see the rest of the gang take off in the FFS mark II which is a upper atmospheric jet, kinda sketchy physics on that one, the cost of using that little bitch would far outweigh the benefits (especially th destruction of the planet)
And then we see a little of King Acorn and the Prez of SS conferring, and some of Gun aswell, may I note, I LOVE Ron Lim doing humans (apart from robotnik) as he does them SOOO WELL! Ever since he did that work of marvel his humans are perfect, but sonic and the gang? BZZZTTTTT You get the booby prize, he has been with us since... ish #90? (No Prize award for the person who follows that one up) so please, gabrie,. either a) hire someone to do the anthro cast or b) sack Ron Lim, I do like him but for the LOVE OF GOD! LEARN HOW TO DRAE THE MAIN CAST PROPERLY! HELL< HIRE SPAZ BACK! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE! STOP TEASING US WITH HIS DAMN COOL COVERS (which co-incidentially, this ish has one of the coolest in a long time)

Now onto the long awaited backup story, Ken Penders Knux 25 years later, this is his baby and I bet that the story has evolved several times, I know that Knux is Penders fav character and honestly, I would not have anyone else doing his stories, they are great, and the art>?? even tho I have fallen for Dawn Best's work, Ken still has the gift and well, apart from the first page, is damn near brilliant (especially when lined up next to ron lim)

Plot wise? this one is light on, it introduces and re-introduces a few characters, Rotor as cloked mad scientist? naaahhh, Espio as a Recptionist? Naaahhh, Harry the Dingo? GOOD ON YA! love him, one of the best supporting characters in the comic ^_^ Julie Su? I think pregnancy got to her, there is nothing really left apart from a blond bimbo, and I don't like it (To quote a famous australian poitician, kudos point for that one) Lara Su tho? well, she takes up Julie Su's place in this comic and well, I think it's all good. Knux FINALLY wears the destined hat and he gets his Kragok eye, plus some body amour and indy boots, but he broods waaay to much (see pic for the point) and well, he thinks that the island don't need guardians any more (biig mistake) and well, that's the current conflict You get to see Lien Da hasn't changed through pregnancy tho, she has had a son (same age as Lara su coincidentially, hmmm) and well, he comes across as a brat, and I love seeing the "Fallen" in a marble ball, man, it's the logical evolution! Go for it Ken! Tho thumbs up!
