Completely snowed in here in Denton the past two days. Nothing to do but paint...really can't complain.

Thanks very much. This one started with a brighter, warmer background but it just didn't work. The background needed to be dreary to contrast the man's, as you say, "little pleasure."

Hahhaha I love this! The man's expression is great and yeah (like was said in the critique), it definitely gives a nostalgic feel. Wonder what he was up to forty years ago....or...last night. <__< Haha anyway, this was a really cool way of incorporating your other piece into a new one. That kinda turbulent sky is really interesting too in contrast with how brightly lit the man is. Glad to see the snow hasn't killed your work ethic!
