Just finished this piece for Funimation's brand manager Cheree Hulsman to be auctioned for Japananese tsunami and earthquake relief efforts.It's Chieko from Princess Jellyfish as Benzaiten; Goddess of speech and music. Seemed appropriate since so many of us have built careers putting our speech into the awesome animated work from Japan. Benzaiten is also one of the 7 Gods of Fortune which, of course, we all wish for Japan now.

Haha, it's good to see some work of her even though she's not one of the really popular characters from that show, maybe all the creepy dolls, but the same voice actress as Chi Chi which kind of threw me for a loop the first time I saw the show, great work!

Yay! Chieko has dignity and beauty. Hopefully she won't be too awkward when people use her as their muse. That reminds me, I need to order Princess Jellyfish.

This is absolutely brilliant! So cute with so much motion in the costume. Plus I love any character in glasses *is sooo biased* I may have to try to bid on her (and then watch with joy/sadness as someone bids way over my limit). Such a great piece for a great cause.
