Perhaps this is the major upside to going to cons to visit friends in the Artist Alley or to see video premieres as opposed to contests/guests.
Eating, sleeping and not smelling like rancid meat always come before spending time on the con floor. And when I used to attend cons with people who didn't feel this way, I'd drag them over to my side of the force.

Yep. Apparently it's a pretty standard con understanding called the 6-2-1 rule. 6 hours of sleep. 2 meals a day. 1 shower a day

is there anything in the cards about cosplay not equaling consent? i've been around too much harassment & wish that more cons would be vocal about squashing that douchecanoe behavior...
