My idol Will Eisner thought the same. When he went into the army after creating The Spirit he created a program for the army where he would draw instruction booklets in comic book form...they were anything from how to assemble a weapon to fixing a jeep. He kept doing those contract for the army years after he left. It was just easier for people to learn that way.
