Wow, I do enjoy the style.
I think, personally, that style is remenecent of either the old Psychonaut game, or that new "DeathSpank" game.
I would personally like to see you experement with this style a bit more.

Thanks! That was my favorite part too. The body was actually a bitch to do. I started with a photo of a muscle builder. But just turning his skin blue didn't work. I think that's what I spent the most time on.

did you use the color mixer? or an adjustment layer to get the blue?

I just adjusted the skin color to the blue then used that color to make the costume

There was also a lot of masking and painting on top of it. but I used those blues

It reminds me of my days as a portrait artist when I painted in acrylics. Pretty much the same process except much faster and a hell of a lot more tools at your disposal.
