Description Mostly for graphic purposes, like if i want to use it as a page doll or something. Also just a more clear view I guess?

This is good! You mentioned you wanted to go for more of the Ori. Style and I see you're working well getting closer to it.

I live the perspective of the board and the action pose that comes with it. I love the facial expression; big smiles are fun faces to make. The lighting isn't bad either. It could be stronger definition of it, but that'll get better with more practice.

The only thing that slightly bothers me is the shine on he hair. Did you use a white gradient to overlay it as a shine? Its angle comes off sort of unnatural.

All and all, its a good piece. Makes me want to work on more action poses! Funny thing is, I finished a piece not to long ago with a character surfing. Boards are fun to draw, lol.

Thanks for the critique! And yeah i didnt quite know how light would bend around orlenas hair. Those were put there with a solid tool (marker) and i blurred one side of them to make that effect. Simple but its helpful to give dark hair colors more shine.

What type of program do you use? You might be able to find a coloring tut somewhere that could help. Im a photoshop user.

SAI.

I dunno if a tut would help with the hair things, as that's just placement, and that's just skill/experience.

Good point. I just assume where the biggest source of light might be coming from and then highlight accordingly.

One thing I'm staring to do now is heavily shade my work and then gradually add highlights and finish with a touch of white in some places.
