Description Adam Włodarczyk - fictional character from Polish film "Daleka jest droga" (in fact a combination of two fictitious characters from Polish stories: Adam Włodarczyk from "Ziętarowe skarby" and Tomasz from "W Giewałdowej"[1]). He was a Pole from the fictitious village of Giewałdowa[2], husband of Zośka Kochańska and lover of Sheila (www.deviantart.com/sonthisland… )[3].

Left to right:
- activist of the Polish Teachers' Union (before 1939)
- Soldier of the 10th horse rifle regiment from the 10th Motorized Cavalry Brigade of the Wojsko Polskie of the Second Polish Republic
- officer of the 10th horse rifle regiment from the 10th Armored Cavalry Brigade of the 1st Armored Division of the Wojsko Polskie in France (1940)
- commander of Mk VIII Cromwell platoon from the 10th horse rifle regiment from the 10th Armored Cavalry Brigade of the 1st Armored Division of the Polskie Siły Zbrojne on the Western Front (1942-44)
- education officer of the 10th horse rifle regiment from the 10th Armored Cavalry Brigade of the 1st Armored Division of the Polskie Siły Zbrojne on the Western Front (1945)
- demobilized officer and teacher in Giewałdowa[3] (after 1945)

[1] He also received episodes from the life of Jan Legut from story "Pomiędzy wilki"
[2] The fictitious Giewałdowa (also "Grywałdowa") was placed somewhere in Podhale
[3] Adam did not want to return to Poland, whose government was dependent on the USSR. His marriage to Zośka (during the war, she cheated on him with her neighbors and the Germans, so after the liberation, she had to flee the village) lasted for a short time. While serving in the Polish Armed Forces on the West, he fell in love with a British Scottish nationality named Sheila, for which he wanted to emigrate to Great Britain after leaving the service in the British zone of occupation in Germany. However, a rumor spread in the regiment that Włodarczyk was returning to Poland, which was believed by the dying Warrant Officer Zientara (Zientar), asking him to build a new school in Giewałdowa for the money he had collected

Virtuti Militari by my friend  Panzer2918.
