If you are interested in raising a Siberian Husky, make sure that you have plenty of room and lots of patience and dedication for daily exercise and obedience training. This breed of dog is highly intelligent but equally stubborn and may be fairly destructive if untrained or neglected. A young puppy is "cute" but he or she needs your attention and love to grow into a nice dog and loyal companion. Please be responsible and do some research before buying or adopting any pet to ensure that it matches your personality and lifestyle!

I completely agree with you. I want a Husky really, really bad since I was little, but I can't have it for various reasons.

I give you a standing O for that statement about dogs! You have to match the person/lifestyle to a breed. It doesnt matter what you like, it maters if it fits your style.

It really impresses me a lot, take a picture of that animal so close is a dangerous total, but it's amazing, the picture is very good, like all you have in your gallery.

Thanks, but I don't see the danger of photographing one's own trained pet at any distance. We spend lots of time training and working with our dogs and puppies so there's mutual understanding and respect between us.

Thank you, Sooper-Deviant, for what you said about the breed!!!! I've seen far too many people that adopt huskies and other breeds simply because of their appearances. Then they realize the dog is very difficult to train and establish leadership over. I've also seen it with dalmations, border collies, german shepherds, etc. They are dogs that need firm, constant training and meantal/physical stimulation. I'm glad you pointed this out, because while huskies are always cute as a button, they ARE NOT for everyone.

I have a husky of my own and they are definitely wonderful dogs, but they REALLY need the training, space, and exercise. If they don't get any of that then they will be very destructive and usually that's what makes owners give them up sadly :/

She was my first Siberian Husky pup. I got her since she was two-month of age and she's over seven-year old now.
