Description
I know the heart-shadow-made-by-a-ring-in-a-book has been done probably many times before...but I just really wanted to do this idea, and I've never seen it done my way.

I don't know what my obsession was with large borders when I first really started getting into photography, but I kind of hate them now. so it must go.
(sorry if anyone really liked the border, with title...)

I'm not normally that interested these kinds of pictures (that being photographs of books or written words), but this one grabbed my attention. It's so sweet and sincere, and if ring-hearts have been done before, I've never seen one until now. Really neat!

maybe they were more popular in 2007, when I first took this shot; I remember seeing a few and that's what helped inspire me.

After seeing the heart, the viewer's eye is quickly drawn to the text besides. 'Love is patient' and 'Love never fails' jump out at me right away.

It might have been done many times before, but the way you place the heart-ring besides the text does bring something new, I'd say.

The writing in the book is a passage from 1rst Corinthians in the Bible; I got the idea in English class 'cause we have to read Genesis in the Bible as a piece of literature for background info to other literatures.

it most certainly is-- and an engagement ring too, though you can't tell that.. I wanted to use a traditional wedding ring, but I couldn't find either of my parents at the time
