They should've just had Regulzeeb become a recurring character in the Bomberman series instead of Max. Though I guess his shadow/gravity powers are pretty gamebreaking if you really think about it.Related content

I actually wouldn't mind if Max and Regulus appeared in a game together. Regulus would be a recurring boss while Max would be like a secondary playable character or something. They'd even have their own pre-boss dialogue between them where they say a bunch of badass things before badassing it up.
