The first of my Stocking photo-shoot, which my friend Joi so kindly shot! I think this was her first time shooting cosplay, and she did such an amazing job! Joi is an uber talented Advertising Photo friend of mine, and we're often partners in crime for a lot of our school related projects. This was one of the rare times where I found myself in front of the camera, while also directing it...kinda. I chose the lighting etc.
Stocking is one of my more elaborate cosplays, so I just had to get really great shots of it! After finishing the cosplay I knew right away that I wanted my friend Joi to shoot them, because her photographic aesthetic is just perfect. She kinda lives for the drama, and Stocking is pretty much that.
Everything for the cosplay was made by me, including Honekoneko, and was debuted at Anime Boston 2011~!
