You sighed while heading off to the apartment, honestly not looking forward to Jack's complaining at the moment. But, seeing as you and Yusei paid the rent and your blond friend had quit his last job, and Crow was who knows where right now, you figured you would get all of you ramen to cheer your disgruntled friend up.

So here you were now, buying ramen to take home only for today to be the day some stupid person decided to steal cash from the very stand you had chosen. You blocked the young teen's path when he tried going past you, the owner yelling after him as you said, "Come on, kid. The cash isn't worth jail time."

But the stubborn kid did not listen to you and tried running past you again, only for you to grab his arm and say, "You want to do it the hard way. Why am I not surprised?"

Knowing he wasn't gonna get away from you and seeing the mark on your face, the kid shook you off and walked over to the owner, handing him the cash back to which you had managed to keep the man from pressing charges. With that, you bought your friends' ramen and paid while the guy delivered it to them before taking your own and another bowl and leading the kid outside to a nearby table.

You both sat down and started eating in silence before he asked, "Why would you do that for me? You don't even know me."

You pushed away your barely eaten dinner and said, "I can see how badly off you are right now. Where are your folks, kid?"

"Out on business. Didn't leave me any cash. And my name's Jake," he said while playing around with his food. You chuckled lightly before saying, "Alright, Jake. I'm--"

"--_____ ______, I know. You were part of Yusei Fudo's team a couple years back," he said to which you shook your head and said, "You could have simply called them to send you some cash. Or make something from the food in your house."

He sighed before saying, "You're right. I didn't know what I was thinking."

"Hey, don't worry. Just don't do something like that again," you said with a smile to which he grinned back to you before spotting someone behind you. You raised an eyebrow before turning to see Yusei walking toward the two of you. You directed your boyfriend over and when he came close enough saying, "Yusei, meet Jake."

He took a seat next to you while giving the teen a small smile saying, "Jake, huh? Nice to meet you."

He nodded before he realized that he was sitting with his two idols and smiled sheepishly before saying, "Yeah, same here. I-if you don't mind, could I get both of your autographs?"

You looked at the kid before saying, "Only if you stay out of trouble."

He nodded eagerly saying, "Cross my heart and hope to die."

With that said, you both took the notebook and marker he handed you and signed. Upon hearing his name being called, he thanked you before running off to join his friends. Yusei wrapped an arm around your shoulders before asking, "So what was that about?"

"I'll tell you later. Right now we've got a depressed Jack Atlas to cheer up," you said while standing up and taking his hand to walk home.

You laughed lightly at seeing the flour covering your boyfriend's face, but what made you lose control in giggles was the twins' jaws to the ground in guilt. Nearly falling off your stool, you held onto the counter before seeing Akiza walk in and give all of you disapproving looks. With that, you took Yusei down to the bathroom to help him clean up.

Once you made it inside, though, your boyfriend had different thoughts in mind as he shut and locked the door behind him. You raised an eyebrow before feeling flour covered lips on your own to which you wrapped your arms around his neck, not giving a damn about the flour now covering you as you hopped onto the kitchen sink, Yusei's arms around you and your legs wrapped around his waist.

It was a few months later that found you and Yusei were sitting on the couch watching TV. Your peaceful silence was interrupted by the ringing of your phone. You tried getting up to answer it only to be pulled back onto the couch. Finding out that your bofriend loved to cuddle earlier on in your relationship, you managed to tickle him into letting you go, making him give you a small pout as you got up to answer it saying, "You know how much I hate that."

While hearing your boss on the phone, you gave him an apologetic look before pecking him on the lips and saying, "Yeah. Of course I can take the morning shift next week. Yeah. Okay. See you Monday."

With that done and over with, you hung up your phone and placed it on the end table before sitting back down and snuggling up to him, only for your phone to go off again. Yusei scowled at the device before tossing it into the laundry basket, muffling the ringtone as you smiled while wrapping your arms around his neck saying, "You could have just asked me to turn it off."

Seeing the ring on your finger and the baby bump on your stomach, you couldn't help feeling bored as you were forced on maturnity leave by your boss. Seeing as you had nothing to do with the fact that your home was already done with unpacking, you simply laid on your back and looked for shapes in the ceiling.

Hence why your head popped up over the couch when you heard the door to your lovely adobe open and saw Yusei come inside. He smiled over to you before closing the door and walking over to you, asking, "Bored as usual?"

With your nod, he sat down and placed your head in his lap while stroking your hair saying, "This is probably the worst part about being pregnant."

He chuckled slightly before asking, "And why is it not the hormones?"

"Because it makes me feel useless," you mumbled before burying your face into his leg to which he simply said, "How could you be useless if you're important in so many ways?"

You smiled while sitting up and giving your loving husband a grateful kiss before saying, "Where would I be without you?"
