Kakusei came into being a long time ago. Like almost a year. He started off bad, as it was my first real piece of fanfiction I ever wrote, but as time grew and I learned how to and how not to write, Kakusei began taking a more clear shape. This version comes from my original design [link] and the edit done by when I commissioned a scene from my fanfic from him [link] . Thanks to inspiration from I was able to figure out a way to make Kakusei seem more like he belonged in One Piece and not some crappy comic I was drawing.

Well, you did great
Honestly!!! You even went and search for nice bases to make your chara profil and it looks awesome (^_^) I especially love the details on his shirt and his vest! His face and hairdo is also very intesresting, original yet fitting for One Piece world, so good job
And his story is nice too, especially the part where he instinctively has memories about fighting techniques from mangas and video-games and uses them to fight, it's really good! The fact that he's a GUY and doesn't have a Devil Fruit makes me love him even more!!! He's a really precious OC, and it's nice to hear you're making him progress bit by bit
All the go, it's a really impressive job, this chara profile is great and I'm sure everyone in groups would compliment you for it ^_^

I did. I looked up a few sketches of a person who I thought would fit Kakusei`s body style. At first, I found some sketches of Luffy, but they just weren`t the pose I needed, so I went to Sanji, who was a perfect fit! I had 3 sketch pages, but I ended up only using 2. But hey, it turned out great! His shirt`s detail were made by when he edited Kakusei, and when I re-drew them, I liked them for the Aztec-like look, so they stayed, and for the hair, it`s kinda based on how my hair sits. Huge bang over my right eye, and kinda spiky some days.
He really did just start out as a Gary Stu, but with some advice from QPython on fanfiction.net, I was able to tone down his abilities so he`d become stronger and still be a more supporting character. Luffy is still the captain after all, so he does need to be the strongest. And I got some advice that a person doesn`t always need a Devil Fruit to fight, so I improvised. Actually, QPython`s character Ricky doesn`t have a Devil Fruit either, so I guess I pulled some inspiration from him. And now, I`m not the only one doing stuff like that for fighting. After I found rabblerouser88 and Kingman13, they`re also guys who got sucked into One Piece, and they don`t have Devil Fruits either, and each has a unique way of fighting, and in their fighting styles, they do have some references.
