Description A Dear Beans comic for April 27th (main character's fictional bday. omg, Chris would be 20 in real-time. wat.) that I drew for Day 17 of Inktober last fall. Prompt, "Dilatory," courtesy of Porsheee

I thought about posting a TBT sketchdump , but apparently I've run out of DB-related ones. Oh well.
Sorry for the inactivity. Projects are killing me and the semester's only halfway over.
I do have a scanned version of this, but I like the vintage filter haha.

~ Dear Beans ~
A slice-of-life story focusing on four friends and their relationships as they grow up.

Chris: Hey guys, thanks for coming today.
Emily: No problem. This is exciting. Do matches usually last this long?
Seth: The opponent is drawing out the match. Chris needs to finish this quickly if she doesn’t to lose.
Chris: *glares* [water bottle is being crushed //wait, isn’t it plastic?]
Emily: Oh.. So it’s like they’re employing a dilatory strategy!
Chris: ??
Alan: Delaying. Stalling. To sap your stamina.
Chris: Oh. Tch. w/e.  *turns back to match*
Chris: *stomp stomp* HEY YOU, STOP PLAYING SO DILATORIALLY.
Seth: Is that even a word...? *sweatdrop*

Yes, that is a great word lol
Actually, now I'm not sure if it should be "dilatoraly" or "dilatorilly" or "dilatorially." I'm still leaning towards the last one, but

so many options xD
