"Some called her a witch of the rose, her powers were feared by them. Some called her an outcast, as she never really seemed to live within the village.Yet few who called her friend knew she was just a young girl. Trying to understand herself, and be loved truly dispite all they said she was..."
For this pic, I was inspired by the 's first contest. I really love the pictures people have been submitting and I wanted to do something in honor of all those participating (not for the contest but in the contest's honor).
So while wearing Aki's School Girl wig, and Rennisance costume I went to the last week of the Rennisance Festival and got this taken. It was alot of fun being "Aki the Rose Witch", especilly since I had quite a few people tell me how much they loved my 'hair'.
Seeing as how Halloween is so close I just wanted to say Happy Halloween everyone! And good luck to all those particpating in the contest!

Thanks! And it's made out of a really nice velvet. It took a pretty good chunk out of the bank account but I still love that dress to this day.

I kinda feel like we're looking into Aki's past(history) and that her ancestor knew of the pain that future generations would hold. I dunno it just has a very old timely feeling to it, I like it ^ ^

Yeah, I've noticed with some of my pics from the faire, they all have that old time feel to it. Like there's something in the air. I kinda like that idea though. Aki's ancestor knowing the pain that her desendents would have.

Some knew her as a witch, but the truth of it all is she was just a normal girl trying to survive. I took her in and gave her love...I have her purpose...something to hold dear.
