Love the tutorial, but I feel that you missed an excellent opportunity to have the pony in the top right of the first panel look like Captain Barbossa.

See, cause in Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl Barbossa says to a captured Elizabeth Swann "The Code is more what you'd call guidelines than actual rules" and the pony in the upper right is saying...ah, nevermind.

Thanks for making these Sorc, now maybe I can actually learn how to draw a pony from scratch and break my tracing/reference habit.
What really pisses me off is I asked Derpibooru if there were any pony tutorials that would help me learn proportion, scale, anatomy and body structure, as well as drawing ponies in different and dynamic poses, and I basically got a bunch of idiot artists telling me I don't need to focus on anatomy and that I just have to "do what feels right" despite that fact that nothing feels right because I have no idea what I'm doing, I don't have any point of reference so I'm just winging it all the time; and getting frustrated (and shutting my streams down early) because I can't do anything.
It's like these artists who make these comments and tutorials have forgotten what it's like to not know what you're doing and how hopeless it feels. They assume that the people looking at these tutorials have an understanding of drawing fundamentals and leave a lot of important information out.
Then I get people like Grieffon telling me "You’re not going to find it. That perfect tutorial you’re looking for that will make sense of everything for you? It doesn’t exist."

A tutorial that helps me make sense of everything. I swear to Mother Celestia, Sorc. You're the first artist who hasn't been a complete clown to me. You came into my first stream and watched all the way through even though you were the only one there and didn't even have to be there. You helped me in my streams when I was struggling with something simple like drawing eyes. You even let me multi-stream with you (even though everypony was there to watch you and didn't pay any mind to me, I was just grateful for the opportunity). I know you made these tutorials for everypony, but it's just such a relief finally finding some guidance that will actually help me.
Now I just have to force myself to practice. That's going to be a chore in itself because I have terrible motivation and self-discipline, and having nopony in my streams or comments sections doesn't help either. Baby steps. At least I finally feel like I'm headed somewhere and not just running blindly through the dark.
