It's just food colouring so it tasted exactly exactly the same as any other cake made with cake mix (which is good imo!)

I thought of making a version of this where I'd use different fruit juices for every color, but I think it may actually not better the concept.

yeah fruit salad is one thing making a cake with those juices might not be as appealing

It was pretty good indeed, even if the colors are purely for the visual effect (food coloring doesn't taste anything)!
