I feel like I'm pulling out the "pretty horse eye" a little early in the portfolio game, especially seeing I have some champagne paint studs left to shoot, but I really like this image an Blue's eyes are very striking. Ramey liked it the most out of my latest shoot so it kept me out of trouble for the day (err I sort of skipped last week lol)Related content

The concept is a bit over-played, but you took a cliche' and turned it into something beautiful.

I cant remember if hes a really light pali or if its creamello. The champagne studs I'm talking about are actually owned by the folks you bought Royal from! They emailed me about coming out to take some photos. Beautiful horses!

this is the most spectacular horse-eye portrait ive ever seen. the lighting is brilliant and how it splays over the fur like spun gold and the light going through the eye makes it look like a crystal or gemstone. you captured a unicorn here!

Yes they do, its kind of a rectangular horizontal pupil. Blue eyes aren't all that uncommon in horses, its happens mostly when an area of light pigmented skin crosses over the eye. Other than blue I think there are only shades of brown. The champagne colored paints I mentioned have these beautiful light amber colored eyes, they're quite beautiful!
