I've been going to rodeos for a long time. Seeing that I'm almost 27, I've been attending (and remembering the events at) rodeos for longer than a large population of DA has even been alive. Despite being old and having a life outside of DA it still irritates me when I straight up get called a liar about things that I've seen time and time again [link] So instead of wasting my breath arguing with trolls, I'm going to post some of the many pics of broncs hanging out in their pens that I've taken.Ok one more, although I have plenty more I could share! This sweet pair were at the Miles City Bucking Horse Sale last year. Check out the hanging lower lip on the buckskin "Zzzzzzzzzz"

On an other note, this is a great shot.
You know, I'd love to have me some of these broncs for pleasure riding, I bet they're incredibly bomb-proof.

Well to some extent I understand. There is a lot of missinformation and lies out there about rodeo. I mean, until recently PETA's "fact sheet" on rodeo stated that the flank strap was tied around the animal's genitals which is a flat out lie. So I can understand how people can be misinformed. It's when they come to my page spouting the same old lies they've been told and then refuse to be informed, that gets irritating.
I would LOVE to have a retrained bronc as a riding horse! They're super smart and athletic and personally I think most of them are gorgeous! When I was in Dayton I think it was, my photographer buddy pointed out a white gelding being riddin by a kid who was maybe eight, and told me that that horse had been to the national finals as a bronc!! When it came time to retire, he got a new job :-D
