the futurities are pretty much training for young bucking bulls while also being a competition. The weight of the dummy gets the young bull used to the weight of a rider and also automatically releases itself and the flank strap once the bull's time is up

Nice shot great up and coming bull. that dummy is instreasting never seen one before... but being a barrel racer I dont see a lot of the practice/training of the bulls. Great shot

Its a bucking dummy, hes only two so they dont buck them with riders. It helps them get used to the weight and having a bull rope there. It also remotely releases taking the bucking strap with it (handy!).
