Description
A quite tragic sight that we rarely see—a beached thalassodont. While quite sad, we get excited when we do find a beached oceanic stithopod of such a size, as it is not very often we get to examine them in such a detailed way. However, we must work quickly, for a pair of oceanic xenopterans have come to feast on the carcass. These xenopterans are Great Oceanrunners, and are the largest of their kind, with a wingspan of around 10 to 12 feet. They often skim the water for fish, however it appears as though they’re going to feast on the beached thalassodont.
