Description

The Aliens (simply called the “Aliens”) were an extraterrestrial species that came to Earth with intentions to colonize it, attacking the human race in a genocidal campaign to colonize Earth. To do their dirty work, they employed the use of synthetic life forms known as “Machines.” The Machines were designed to exterminate all human life.

The Aliens’ origins remained a mystery. Nobody knew how far they came from or where they came from. Few ever saw the Aliens in the flesh, with only a handful ever being caught and studied. Nevertheless, the Aliens had a bulbous body supported on a single foot with long, slender toes to locomote. The Aliens bore a single manipulatory tentacle that terminated in two digits, the top one bearing a small claw. They possessed two eyes on stalks on what humans may consider to be their “head.” The Aliens were around five feet in height. The Aliens’ skin was greenish in color, and was relatively leathery.

The Aliens were an egg-laying species, and could be hatched as either a male or a female. There was little physical distinction between males and females aside from the fact that females were smaller than males, and females tended to be a bit more “round” than their male counterparts. Males had a more slender build, while females were shaped more like a pear, their body getting more plump the further back one went.

The Aliens used grunts, gurgles, and deep, horn-like bellowing to communicate, augmented by resonating chambers located close to their nostrils, which were on their back. While they lacked ears like human ears, the Aliens possessed small collections of hairs on their head, which were sensitive and could pick up sound.

The Machines themselves were, as mentioned before, tools of the Aliens, and were used as weapons as opposed to the Aliens sending in their own to fight because the Aliens’ numbers were limited, as they were a small group of survivors from their home planet. Sending down their own to fight would give them little benefit in return, and would needlessly endanger them.
