Oh what's that?? Did I just,, did I just make an OC??
Damn, sounds kinda sus, gotta check if I'm not dreaming-

Shdjd but like seriously, I draw my OCs like once a year so this really is something special.

This guy right here is named Lucius Von Weiherr.
He's this creature called Nix/Wassermann which is basically a water demon that drowns people and- feasts on their fucking lifeless corpses

Yeah, pretty edgy, but surprisingly, this species ain't my creation.
So don't blame me, but Germanic folklore.

I mean- Ever heard of the European water cult? No? Alright, let me explain.
You might've heard about Kelpie, a water demon that drowns people.
Most of the European countries have a similar creature in their mythology.
For Slavic nations, it's Vodyanoy, for Germans, it's Wassermann.

The appearance and skills of these creatures may vary, but the main idea is the same; a spirit that lives under the water and drowns people.
Sometimes, they even eat people, some of them only take their soul and some of them would never hurt you. Like I said, really depends from what country the creature is.

I mainly based Lucius on the German version, Wassermann, but I also gave him some features from the other creatures.
Wassermann might look just like a normal person, the only thing that makes him different are his teeth, that look exactly like teeth a fish has.

Lucius' design was inspired by Northern pike, so that's why he has such sharp teeth.
Also his eyes are yellow/gold just like pike's eyes.
He might be a water demon, however his behaviour is more animal-like.
As I mentioned before, people are his natural prey, but he only kills them when he's hungry, just like an animal would. He doesn't kill people for fun.

Although he is bond with the water, he doesn't live in it.
He lives in a small castle near a huge lake and usually walks around the water just to check his territory. The only time he has to go in the water, is when he wants to kill his prey, because he attacks from water, kinda like a crocodile does.

Most of the water demon creatures can shapeshift, for example into a fish, however, Lucius cannot do that, because as I said, he's more of an animal than a demon.
He doesn't really have any supernatural skills at all.

He lives for hundreds of years and ages very slowly, but he is not immortal.
The only way to kill him is to chop off his head, but you'd probably be dead before you could even get your sword.

Now something about his design. I already mentioned it was inspired by Northern pike, but that's not the only thing that was inspired by this fish.
This fish is called Esox lucius in Latin, so that explains his first name.
And about his last name- Oh well, der Weiher means pond in German, so I guess I don't have to say more.

It wouldn't be me, if my OC wouldn't have anything to do with Third Reich.
You probably noticed the party badge on his jacket, right?
Now you're probably wondering how did a fucking animal get in the party-
Oh well, that's a long story, for which you'd have to wait until I draw him again.
