Practicing drawing older characters and decided to use Hetalia characters to practice on. Quick works but I rather like them.Related content

It is called a toothbrush mustache and was actually quite popular before Hitler went an ruined it for everybody. Ludwig is trying to make a statement with his mustache choice. He wants people to know while he will never forget that terrible war and crazy men who had control him at the time, he won't let the past stop him from enjoying perfectly innocent things that he likes - such as the toothbrush mustache style. Basically just because a bad person likes doing training, certain types of dogs, etc it shouldn't stop other people from liking those things because those things do not make someone like the bad persons, being a bad person makes you a bad person.
So yeah I just wanted Germany to as an old man be able to look back, acknowledge the past but not let it rule him. Plus I kinda think it suits his face.

Ah yeh in the comics and anime they are said to be brother and sister. Ukraine is the oldest sister, then Russia is the midddle child and Belarus is the little sister. Belarus seems to have a brother complex and always wants to marry Russia.
