So hem I don't know if you remember this. In fact I hope ou forgot about this picture xD because I suck so much, I wasn't even able to draw a totally new thing for ya D':
BUT even when I sketched this 4 months ago, I had only you in my mind. Because thanks to you, I really got into Bleach, and could feel my most incredible anime moment of my whole life, WHILE WATCHING THIS FOURTH MOVIE 
This picture just exploded all my records. Longest time sketching (10h+) to get EVERYTHING excactly as I had it in my mind. I have simply no regrets. It looks plain awesome. Longest time linearting (DAMN WHY HIHIO ZABIMARU AND THE SKULL CLAD IN THE SAME PICTURE !!!! DAAAAAAMN I'M SUCH A DUMB PERSON, WHY CAN'T I THINK TO FIND IDEAS !!), and quite long time to color everything.
One of the only complete background (I submitted alone, because well, Zabimaru hides the most part of it) I have for my drawings 
Background story for this ? Well, when I watched Bleach Jigoku Hen, when Ichigo ~received that Skull Armor, I randomly said to myself : "woooo this skull armor and Zabimaru, and Ichigo becomes the Ultimate Skull Warrior 
THEN why Renji and Rukia ?! I had to change my phone wallpaper, so I decided Renji had also to change his. SO WHY NOT HIS ZANPAKUTO WITH ICHIGO HAHAHA //bricked
And Rukia being like WTF you doing.....srsly...
Then WHILE drawing I tried to stay more or less logical (in this quite non-sense haha), and...since Ichigo was in Bankai state, his reiatsu would be the black and red one. So. Hem. On Zabimaru too, I guess......WELL those little Kuroi Getuga flames on it look awesome as well
And where's Tensa Zangetsu ? Rukia is keeping it, since Renji is taking a photo. Logical.
So I am sorry for not being there for you as much as I would like to. You deserve so many many many things. I hope you like this as much as I do, and I hoooope you weren't expecting something else, or....well. Happy B-Day, Bro.

I really can't imagine how long it must have taken to make this. (Well... you did say 10+ hours. That's some mad dedication right there.)

The skull clad ? *insert Shiro's insane laugh here* Hell Verse chapter !! Bleach fourth movie !
Yeeeeeeessshhh I think I did like 30 hours on this. No kiddin'. All the LS spent more by talking with the others than effectively drawing, that damn sketch where I did draw/erase/draw/erase/... To get the anatomy, AND mostly Zabimaru right (also with that damn skull clad). Then the lineart (once again, damn Zabimaru), and the background ( soul-helper.deviantart.com/art…) that in the end was totally covered by Zabimaru (damn you, thousand times.). And Of course the shading took me forever, and finally all the effect (the dust around Zabimaru, and the glowing thingie in the skull clad)
But, well, when you look at Ifragmentix or Divi, they can do more awesome things, in leeeeeess hours....but for me, it's just that I am a slow person, and..I need several hours for sketching. WISH I could do right anatomy at the first try. :/ and also WISH I had more time to do more details (what I could do at first for this, 'cause it was in the holidays. I didn't need to rush things because Of studies.)

... Oh my GOD. I just feel in love with that movie. I had to watch it last night after seeing this deviation, and... BEST ANIME MOMENT IN MY LIFE.
Ichigo in the skull clad armor ;w; that was amazing. The animation was so awesome, much better than I thought it'd be--if only the entirety of the Bleach anime was made like that, it would have so many more viewers. But it's as popular as it is ;D
I loved seeing emotional Ichigo! Whoa, his screams... I don't know, for some reason, I like seeing him terrified and kind of helpless. That's why I like le Fullbringer arc 
I actually thought Kokuto was a nice guy at first. I really did. And then I was trolled, but it was the best troll of my life ;n; I love that movie. To bits and pieces. I mean it, it was the best anime moment in my life.
Zabimaru blocking up that entire background... damn he's inconsiderate. Zabimaru, wai you no be smaller?!
*looks at your shading, anatomy, and background and slowly retreats into my emo corner* I'm a fan of both. XD Man, I was watching Divi do her sketch, and... how does she get all the characters and anatomy right in like five minutes? And she hardly has to erase!
......... Divi is amazing.
But you're pretty much on your way there, too! (As for me, meeeeh, I think I'll keep writing instead of going into drawing.)

Divi had the huge chance of Learning to draw realistic first :I I think that's it. Once you got everything right in realistic, manga (even more realistic ones, like Bleach, admit it.) instantaneously seems easier I think......
I've NEVER been able to do anything realistic. People AND landscapes. So basically, I must do and do and redo and redo again until I get it right
Divi is one of my idols, that's it. :')
Huuuuuuunnn thank you sooo muuuuch !!! I am so happy I could see some improvement in my anatomy already, but I'm still far from doing it bim bam like this. BUT with references, I already find it easier.
