Description
With this quite personal, metaphorical drawing, I decided to try some careless crosshatching instead of my strange meticulous technique. The idea was to try drawing simpler and quicker, but the experiment went awry. I've spent 12 hours on this little thing. The result turned out pretty ambiguous. In comparison to my usual style, the drawing seems to look better as a whole, with those more gradual tones, but looking close, the details are messy, not accurate enough. Not sure if I should continue experimenting with such crosshatching. Maybe, I should try being more precise with it. Or, maybe, I should try more simple line art to draw quicker. Or, perhaps, I should take my time to draw like I usually draw.After drawing it, I decided to edit it to get a premade album cover artwork.
