Contest entry for the first week of the Megaman Zero fan art contest .
OMGosh, finally finished... Took so long to complete... This has to be one of the best artworks where I had put forth so much effort in adding detail. Even then, part of me is still going "WTFreezers?! There's still seems to be something wrong with it!".
Uuuuugh... Well, I'm done with this one...
And wow, I almost forgot to add my description.
Of course, the artwork depicts Zero's awakening scene, but I created a more intimate moment between Zero and Ciel, not to mention to portray Zero's more vulnerable and humble position.
To Ciel, Zero is the last candle of hope that she has to bring peace to a dark world that is torn with conflicts and oppression among humans and Reploids. And most of us know that Zero was awakened and restored at the price of Passy the cyber elf's life. Ciel isn't crying not only of the joy of finding Zero, but also of sadness for Passy's sacrifice.

Fine picture, but I have to say the watermark just spoils it. Couldn't it have been in some other place than right at the center of the action?

Sorry about that. It's just I don't like the idea of art thieves seizing my work. Even with watermarks, some people can still find a way to erase them.

Her arm, holding Passy, is a bit thick, mostly because the thickness doesn't vary from upper to wrist. That's the only crit I can offer. Other than that, nice job. You did well to protray their emotions.
I still feel for Passy .3.

Yeah, it is thick. I think I was just focusing on how long the arm was.
It is sad that Passy had to sacrifice herself like that. The game developers were sadistic.

Nerd input: Zero was able to be awakened because Passy passed through the Barrier that Ciel couldn't get through... that's why her name is 'Passy'. She passes through barriers. >:
It's cool though, even though Ciel actually never got that close. It might be too intimate for my tastes...only because of all the " Sizzling Circuits! the Resistance that is escorting her is Dying off" moment you get at the beginning .

Yeah, I knew Passy was the only one who could bypass Zero's protection barrier in the game, but I decided to chuck that fact aside and just create this scene. 
And I don't know if anybody has noticed, but can you see a couple of Pantheons at the left?
