This is one of the best works with colored pencil I've seen! 8D (even though the background is painted...)

No x3; Only art lessons i've had were the ones at school.
I just like to experiment with different materials and drawing different things alot, since i'd like to be atleast decent at drawing as many things as i can, and using as many different mediums as i can.

I've always loved drawing, but i've only really been trying to get better at it for the past 4 or 5 years. The main way i've learnt is looking at the tutorials here on dA, and whenever i get something new to work with (Pipe cleaners, chalk, water colours, etc) I start testing them out to see what i can and cant do with them, then keep practicing with them, and even basing things on stuff of other artists, for example, i had to look at a bunch of other peoples pipe cleaner models to figure out ways to make bodies and wings.
One way to help with getting better is to not give up when you cant get something to look right, just keep trying or even try drawing it in another way.

Thanks. That was a last minute addition of sorts. I remembered i had a white pen and decided it'd add a nice effect to the picture.
And yeah, i'd figure it would be. x3
