They've had couple names for a while. Raveast was a prominant one. As for the fairy tale trope they fit into, they fit into both Beauty & the Beast (obvious, but then, it is a dark beauty--given Obsession alias Demon Lust aka Affection [ [link] ] plus Rage--with the Beast naturally due to their inner struggles [ [link] ], for as the sensual saying goes, "an animal in bed is a demon in the sack") and The Frog Prince (see the Disney version with Naveen & Tiana in terms of personality or the fact that the tale is one of BB's favorite stories per the TitansGO! comics [ [link] ])

Well, so long as Geoff Johns is behind the live-action Titan series - considering he's the dude who first canonized Gar/Rae in the comics (from 2003-2011, in the pre-New 52 timeline) - it's hopeful that with Nightwing (Dick Grayson) and Starfire (Koriand'r [pronounced like the spice coriander]) as the older Titans (with a possible Justice League tie-in through their good buddy Cyborg, who's getting his own solo film with Ray Fisher as Victor Stone, who would eventually become Cyborg) & Beast Boy (Garfield Logan) & Raven as younger TEEN Titans (since the actress playing Raven in the live-action show literally IS 13-years-old, whereas the actress playing the Tamaranean princess is 29-years-old), that live-action BloB/Rae is on the horizon.
Also, if Tara Strong reprises Raven in Young Justice, you can be sure she'll petition for BB/Rae to be included, given her consistent twitter feed showcasing her - and by proxy, Raven's - love for pairing BB/Rae together.
