I like the concept, and the way he's sitting. And using a butterfly, not something overrated.

VERY fleshy! Bare flesh!
Oh, and by the way I was browsing your comments and I came upon one where you were explaining how you thought this up... about all these stories about love? And there was a part where you mentioned this man was beautiful as he was led by hate for society, therefore all he wanted was a better world.
I totally agreed with you there. I understood it! It's okay! You're not alone! XD
Keep up the amazing work you've been producing.

Uhm...yes... I agree with your analyse on it... You know how I thought of drawing this picture? I was at some kind of event in a bookshop where me and a few other students had to read some stories we had written... I was one of the first who read my story and then listened to the writings of the others...and except for the story of some guy they were ALL about love (both happy love and brokenheartedness),faith,hope,faith,love,hope,love,love,love.......... and the things written were nothing but sugary lies to me. I mean,I believe in love, for example, but wrote about love as it's depicted in soap operas for example. So I thought:"Damn, why do they depict only this as beautiful?" And I imagined a young man, very skinny and not very attractive, his skin pale, cold and wet,I imagined him hiding in a dark,box-like room, with his greasy hair falling on his shoulders...I imagined him hiding in this room,HIDING FROM the WORLD,the world he hates and wants to change... I felt the desire of a revolution in his heart,I imagined his weakness and unappealing (to most people) looks, his long crooked nose,everything... And I thought:"Why don't I,next time, write a story about the beauty of people like him,the beauty of people led by hate not love - the hate for society. Because,if he hates society, doesn't that mean he dreams of a better, beautiful world?
Thast was my idea... I defined this person as an insect trying to turn into a butterfly and spread its wings to the world... and to me,these ideas he's got make him beautiful,it doesn't matter whether his heart is full of hate or love;it doesn't matter whether the butterfly is black...It's still a butterfly, right?
P.S. Yes. I babble TOO much.

yes. Thier love is so easilly cast aside.
The vision of the black butterfly simply speaks of truth.

Yeah, that's what I'm talking about! I'd love to see some old-fashioned traditional sheet-of-paper/canvas art... Because you put much more soul in it that photos or digitally drawn stuff... I'd love to see some drawings/paintings in case you post some traditional things...

This is a very good piece of art - well done. I like the skin tones and the way you have done his trousers. This also has great volume in the whole of his body. Well done.

I love it... It seems like, to me, that you've improved a bit... I love the shading, the way the body is posed, and the whole piece overall... There is beauty in black butterflies, and there is beauty is other things but it's just really a person's point of view...
