Why would Vale PD allow Faunus into their ranks or allow them to assist them?

considering they got humiliated during the Beacon Crisis, anything that could help improve their image would be welcome. combine this with the influx of criminals leaving the new Vacuo with Petra's abilities, and you've got an in.Β
and, again. you're assuming the virulent racism is universal and practiced by everyone.Β

I know......sorry.
I assumed it was based off of the political climate and Red Fang that the PD would be hesitant to welcome in Faunus.

Needing to wear gloves to keep from sensing something? I didn't know that you were a Babylon 5 fan.

That seems to be a recurring theme in this comment section.Β
In Babylon 5, human telepaths are required by the PsiCorps to wear gloves at all times in part to prevent any skin-to-skin contact with non-telepaths as that would instantly demolish the telepath's mental barriers (telepathy in this series is a passive trait that cannot be turned on or off. Therefore, telepaths have to learn techniques to *not* read minds) and open up open up the other person's mind to them.
There's also a more insidious symbolic reason, but that neither here nor there.

It makes sense that these academies also have facilities to train police officers and other emergency services that are relegated to the Kingdom itself.

Well the good news is I can't think of any bunny characters you accidentally hit that weren't already mentioned (although I'm pretty sure I could find a few if I tried) and I really like the Psychometry semblance. Not really sure what my characters would think, though Oriana would definitely approve of her not getting Humanization treatment.

I like the emblem you've made for her; simplistic yet badass. A shear sign she's no ordinary rabbit.
