During The Beginning Of March 2024, Ruth And Mr. Conductor Have Been Working On Thomas Of Getting Him Ready For The Annual Chesapeake & Ohio Steam Days Event. Thomas Was Temporarily Repainted In Washable Removal Black Paint Covering His Dark Blue Paint And Silver Stripes. In Another Part Of The Masquerading Is That Ruth Relettered And Renumbered Him With C&O Lettering And Numbering As Chesapeake & Ohio K-5 Mikado No. 1063. They Couldn't Find A Perfect Masquerade Or Find The Info If The Ex-Pere Marquette MK-2's Have Been Relettered And Renumbered As C&O Locomotives After The Merger, And So They Decided To Go With The K-5 Masquerade Even Though Thomas Is Basically A USRA Light Mikado And He Was Different Compared With K-5 Light Mikado. Last Thing They Put On Is That Mr. Conductor Swapped Thomas's Southern Pacific 6 Chime Whistle And Temporarily Replace It With A Chesapeake & Ohio H Class Single Note Hooter. Thomas Will Remain In His C&O Masquerade Through March To April.

NOTE: During The Masquerade Thomas Removed His Top Geared Gloves And Wrist Rings And Arm Pads Off To Make Him Like He's In Revenue Freight Service In The 1940s And Have Been Given A Black Cap With The No. 1063
