Description I can't stand people who think they are artists but yet cannot manage to use proper English, spelling, and punctuation, and use the same words over and over again a million times in their descriptions. Did they not go to school past the 3rd grade? Do they not own a dictionary? My NINE year old can spell better than some people I've seen on here and other websites of distinction. It's ok to use 'slang' terms every once in a while, because I do due to my country heritage and raising, but it's annoying to use it constantly. It makes you look incredibly stupid. So therefore, read my latest stamp. Enough said. This need not apply to our foreign friends from out of the country, so do not think I am singling you out. This is just geared towards those who should know better. Ignorance is not bliss. It just makes you look like idiots, plain and simple.

EDIT TO ADD ANOTHER STATEMENT TO CLARIFY ANY MISCONCEPTIONS:

I did not imply this to foreigners or people of a different language. I meant this for those whose main language is English, was raised in America and should know better. I personally LOVE to see art and photography from other countries and people of a different denomination than myself. It gives me a chance to see places I may never get to and see the styles they use as well. I may not be able to read their language or understand their descriptions, but I can admire the art anyway.

If you do not like my opinion, I do not force it on you, and you don't have to view it. Thank you to those who agree with me, and keep on keeping on. 'Ray loves you!

I'm all for speaking proper English and all that jazz, believe me, but I don't think it should be a requirement for someone to be called an artist. I'd take them as a more serious artist if they did, but I would never think them to be any less of an artist because they don't speak proper English.

Yeah, I understand your point, but you also can speak properly and do the slang on purpose for Gale. That's not what I'm talking about on this stamp.

What does art have to do with language?
You are saying if I can't talk proper english, I can't be an artist?!
That's just stupid. I mean, I'm from a country who doesn't have English as main language, and you're telling me that I can't be an artist because of that?

Did I say that? You shouldn't even be commenting on this. You speak and type very clearly as far as I can see. It's for those who DON'T and truly know better. It's not racist, nor against any one who can't speak the language either. I'm removing your comment. I think I gave enough explanation in my artist comments. Thank you.

I believe this explains it: as quoted in my description:

"This need not apply to our foreign friends from out of the country, so do not think I am singling you out."

I did not imply this to foreigners or people of a different language. I meant this for those whose main language is English. I personally LOVE to see art and photography from other countries. Does it not just make you want to pull your hair out?

"& like ya need to be lookin' at dis becuz I says so & its just so cool man & weird & stuff. its cool."

Give me a break and give them a dictionary and a slap on the back of the head. Maybe it'll rattle their brain a bit.

It makes me want to scream!

And another one of my pet peeves is people who type like this: lIke U sHouLd ChEcK iT OuT. AHHHHH!!!! I get so confused when everything's typed like that.

Oh I know. It's so stupid. If I type like that, it's an accident and a huge typo (except for that ONE time in my Crazy Creations Abstract Art folder. I did the alternate capitals for it.)
